Properties with coastal views are usually the most expensive but Spain also offers some stunning Mountain views, with olive, cherry and citrus groves. The Costa Blanca is very green with beautiful wild flowers, soaring mountains and a superb coastline with sandy beaches. The Costa Calida has more even terrain, oasis towns, salt flats and, of course, the Mar Menor (a vast inland saltwater lake) and is famous for its stunning sunrises and sunsets. Costa Almeria has arid terrain and is dominated by the Sierra Nevada mountain range, with a rocky, volcanic coastline and mostly shingle beaches. There are beautiful views everywhere you look in Spain but, remember, if purchasing property in town, to look for any waste ground around the building you are viewing and bear in mind that empty space will probably be built on.
