Bank Accounts
It is easy to open a bank account in Spain. You can
obtain a (non-resident) current account quite easily
with a passport and proof of address (e.g. utility bill
or rental contract). You should, however, shop around
as different banks have different charges and different
initial deposit requirements. Most banks charge a separate
monthly fee for having an account, debit card or visa
card.
