Climate, Costa Almeria
Costa Almeria has a sunny, desert environment, enjoying
over 300 days of sunshine per annum. Temperatures range
from an average of 35°C in summer to 19°C during
winter. However, strong breezes which blow year round
save the area from too much humidity and make it a very
comfortable environment in which to live and work.
Climate, Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca boasts a beautiful climate, whether
to visit or to live. It enjoys 320 days of sunshine
a year, and has one of the healthiest climates in the
world, according to the World Health Organisation. The
sun is at its hottest from July to September, with temperatures
in excess of 30°C (86°F), whereas the typically
very mild winters, boast averages of around 18°C
(64°F).
Climate, Costa Calida
The Costa Calida literally means “Hot Coast”
with an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. The
area has a 'micro-climate' which means that it is often
sunny when the weather is inclement elsewhere and the
nearby mountains and salt flats are beneficial to health,
especially for those with respiratory and arthritic
ailments. The region of Murcia has a maximum summer
temperature of 40ºC and mild winters, averaging
15ºC in December/January.
