Location: Almería airport is
located about 10 Kilometres east of the city of Almeria.
The airport supports a steady 830,000 passenger movements
a year. There is a single runway of 3200m by 45m wide
allowing 26 aircraft movements an hour. The terminal
building was rebuilt in 1995 and can handle 1300 passengers
an hour.
Buses: Local bus line 14 links the airport with the
city centre train and bus station. The price of a single
ticket is 0.70 Euro. A bus runs every half hour in the
day and every three quarters of an hour in the evening.
The first bus leaves the airport at 07.22 and the last
at 22.08.
Taxis: The fare to the city centre
is about 15 Euros. Aguadulce (25 Euros), Roquetas (40
Euros), Mojacar (80 Euros).
